What a gorgeous beginning to a new month! The sun is shining, the air is crisp, snow is gently falling. And it’s Sunday! Perfection.
As I was walking with my man and our dog, playing “catch me if you can”, I started feeling very grateful.
So, with that in mind, here is a list of things I am grateful for today, in no particular order and of various importance:
- My family
- The crunch of the snow beneath my boots
- The crisp air
- I cooked my leg of lamb perfectly last night (though I’d never done one before)
- We have great dinner parties
- I was totally organised yesterday (including no last-minute shower!)
- This morning’s post from Bethany was perfectly timed
- I follow great blogs that give me so much
- I finally had he courage to put myself out there
- We have nothing on the agenda for today!
So, silly little post but just felt right, you know?
May December be filled with all that makes you happy!
Not really on the subject, but you have a beautiful dog. On topic: I’m thankful I have a warm house to be in while it’s cold and rainy outside.

Thanks! We constantly get stopped because of him. He’d be a great “Babe” or “Guy” magnet!

That sounds like the perfect morning! (Well, I am wimpy about the snow…ok, I don’t like snow at all except in pictures…but everything else sounded great!)
I am thankful for so many things and the top of my list is CJ’s calming nature. He really is a calming force and comic relief. I am thankful for my family and friends – blogging, “real life,” etc. I am thankful that I am not always a chicken. (Still a work in progress…)
Happy December to you!

Snow’s not so bad…. well, for now anyway! We’ll talk come February when I’m sick of the stuff!
You and CJ really do have such a lovely partnership and truly seem to balance each other out which is fabulous!
Isn’t life grand when we take the time to think about all the wonderful things we have?
