Gratitude Sunday, May 25, 2014

This has been quite a week that hit pretty much all the emotions possible!  The first anniversary of the death of Dad was a biggie.  Realising my first-born would have been 18 today is another.  But there were many fun and enjoyable things as well.

So, without further blah, blah…

 Gratitude List

  1. I am so happy I finally wrote a post on Dad, trying to show parts of the man who held such a big part in my life;  bonus being how well this writing was received!

  2. Though we didn’t have him in our Earthly life for very long, Austin taught me just how strong and capable I am.  Happy Birthday Austin – you would have been 18 today!

  3. To be able to spend a week-end at a spa with a very good friend is more than a blessing.  Laughter, relaxation, wine, great company, good food.  What more can we ask for?

  4. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Patricia McDougall for having given me this fabulous gift – the spa stuff was a treat, the best part was our girl-time!

  5. Coming home to sparkly clean windows and house – You are amazing, Mick! xoxoxo

  1. You are truly blessed, Dale. I am, too, and have so much to be thankful for. I enjoyed reading your list of blessings. Have a happy Memorial Day holiday. Stay safe. 🙂

    • Am definitely feeling blessed, Pat! Thank you! And you too, have a most happy Memorial Day (we don’t celebrate here in Canada)!

      • Thank you, Dale. In any event I hope you have a good day. Here’s a link I hope you like that goes with your gratitude theme. I’ve used it a couple of times in my posts and love it. Enjoy! 🙂
