The wind has been taken out of my sails today so I’ve been sitting here, numb-like, simply reading (catching up) on some of the blogs I’m subscribed to. I can’t seem to do much else.
I am rarely reduced to this state (thank God!) and am grateful for the blogging community to lift my spirits. I thank all of you.
In my attempt to bring myself up to my normally happy-go-lucky self, I shall do like Zeke and look over the wall at what wonderful things are out there to look at and appreciate.
Yesterday was such a wonderfully beautiful day that Zeke and I ambled around for a good two-and-a-half hours and I took a good 300 pictures with my camera and, for those of you who got bombarded by my Instagram Pics, quite a few with my phone!
Tomorrow will be a ride up into the Outaouais/Laurentians to hang out with Mom and family. Good times ahead.
Today, well today is just a momentary blip. I cannot stay in this mood forever. It’s not in me.
Feel better~ ❤

That’s a great attitude, Dale. Dogs are good models for behavior, aren’t they? I do hope things will be looking up very soon. Enjoy the time with your family!

It seems difficult to not be happy (or to be in need of happy) with Zeke omnipresent. In any case and if it’s not too late, sending an abundance of happy your way!

Don’t you just love our furry friends for helping us get out of our human funks? If I’m ever having a bad day, the moment I pet or play with my cats, the world looks much brighter.

When I’m in a funk I avoid everyone but my dog. There’s no better way to lift my spirits. Hope you are feeling better now!

I so hear you, Connie! Yep… I don’t stay in a funk for a long time. Just can’t. Doesn’t seem to be in my nature (thankful for that!!)

What a handsome boy Zeke is! That’s the great thing about dogs, they just want to “be there.”
