The View
I could not believe how lucky I was to get such a fabulous apartment with a perfect view of the ocean. I agreed to pay for the whole year up front ~ it was that good of a deal. The outside wall had a beautiful ocean scene done by some local artist. My building looked like a huge aquarium set in the middle of downtown.
Best. Spot. Ever.
I slept like a baby on that first night. So happy. I rolled over and sat up and stared at my bedroom door into…nothing.
Where did the rest of my apartment go?

The green ones in the avitar … the ones with you peeking at me over top of the frames. Then again, I also recall a hottie pic with sleek sunglasses.

All pretend and wishful thinking, aFa…the real ones are red…hottie red!
Just kidding…not hottie…just plain and simple, ordinary and boring…red.

I like plain & simple … but I just saw that there was a pic with sunglasses.

Probably not this week, but I have told Rochelle that I’ll be returning soon to Fictioneering. Am still busy fiddling with the hard copy of my typescript, plus negotiating with a graphic designer about my book cover. Hopefully, I will come up with a 100-word story next week.

It took me a bit to get my mind wrapped around that image … once I got it, then I read .. which of course helped me understand the image .. .and I initially thought this was going to be about the TV show (The View) … but we did get the Twilight Zone. Well done, Ms. Dale!

I never was much on open-air apartments. The view is great unless I’m the one coming out of the shower. Then you may want to cover your eyes.

Dear Dale,
Someone was one heck of an illusionist. They say half is better than none, but with an apartment I don’t think that’s true. Good one.
Shalom,
Rochelle
