“Some things are hard to write about. After something happens to you, you go to write it down, and either you over dramatize it, or underplay it, exaggerate the wrong parts or ignore the important ones. At any rate, you never write it quite the way you want to.”

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.”

This post is in an answer to 3-2-1 Quote Me Challenge which was started at TeleportingWeena. I was then tagged by Crispina to take part in this challenge.
So here’s how it works:
Thank the selector: “Thanks, Crispina, you knew I’d be willing to play.”
Post 2 quotes for the challenge of the day, which is Expression.
Select three bloggers to take part in this challenge.
My three choices are as follows and please note, there is never any obligation; only those who desire to play, should.
Nice choices, Dale. That first one collides with a thought that often crops up when reading e.g. an autobiography, or a fiction written in 1st person. Like, folks really remember everything done and said?

I know, right? Sometimes I shake my head and think… c’mon…

Especially when I recount a childhood memory, and my sister says, no, it wasn’t at all like that. Humph. But who’se to say her memory is right?

Ah well. That completely amazes me, to tell you the truth. We three sisters have very different memories of our childhoods. It’s all in what made an impression to one, don’t you think?

Good quotes. Your first choice emphasizes the challenges of writing – something all of us encounter. The second one is a powerful challenge to each of us!

Wonderful quotations and amazing photo, Dale! I can relate to both of the quotes. Graham’s relates to something I was thinking about–how the creative spirit, muse, or whatever comes and about being open to it.

Thank you, Merril. Both of them really spoke to me.
As for the photo, cool, eh? I merged two photos into one (that expression thing of another kind…)

Very cool, Dale. I would have no idea how to do that.

Easy-peasy, Merril. Just download the “Diana” app 😉

Lovely quotes but you know me, I’m horrible with the pressure of meeting these challenges. Clever image editing, Mz Fancy-Pants juggling 187 things whilst moving.

Hey. I specifically said no obligations whatsoever.
Ya like? It’s with the Diana App for phone…
Haha! This was no brain required. And that pic I did like over a hear ago.
