Every Wednesday (usually much earlier than this), I post a Wordless Wednesday over on Sorryless. I have been doing a Church series of sorts and was lucky enough to decide to photograph the Ste-Anne Basilica in Varennes at noon on a Saturday.
I was leaving after my photo session and realised it was noon when the church bells started. I quickly (okay, I missed four beats) decided to record them.
And then, a whole ‘nother bit of bell-work started so I tried to get most of that too!

A bit of quick thinking there. Lovely!

Dear Rochelle,
Kind of an oxymoron, eh? Not only do I have a bunch of words but I also added sound… Not so Wordless Wednesday after all…
But I am ever so glad you liked!
Shalom and lotsa love,
Dale

Beautiful catch! Sometimes it is all about timing. Just so happens the our handbell choir is practicing a piece about church bells. Here’s a recording ,,, https://listeninglab.stantons.com/sheet-music/search/results/?t=quick&v=cathedral+bells

Q,
Double brava with bells on top!
Now the architecture, as I’ve previously stated . . is majestic. But when you add the bells, it’s as if heaven left a calling card.
You’re doubling down with the beauty all over the place! I almost skipped past this, thinking my reader had just skipped its beat and posted the WW twice on Sorryless twice, LOL. I mean, with the way it does its business sometimes, I wouldn’t have been surprised in the least.
Beauty and bells.

B,
I couldn’t add the videos to Sorryless so I had to create a link ‘twixt the two of us π
Skip past! Gasp! Ya shoulda known I keep WW all for Sorryless… I never reblog or share it on my site. And that’s why I modified the titles so they’d be different.
All that to say, glad you enjoyed my brief recordings of the bells. Wish I had realised they would ring!
Beauty and bells and all things glorious.

Huh, that’s odd.
Hey, I’m talking about reader, not you. Reader does wacky things sometimes, but seeing as how I don’t use my email, I abide by it anyways.
Poifect timing!
All things glorious, indeed.

Nah… it’s not odd. You have to pay extra to be able to upload MP4’s… which I do π
But yes, it coulda been the Reader…
Almost poifect!
Indeed.

Ugh, everything is an extra cost these days. Me and Ari were searching for a flick to watch last night and we got one, but it required that I upgrade to HD . . . so nope.
The Reader is a cranky little fucker sometimes.
Hey, wasn’t that a movie?
Yes deed.

Yes, it does. It wasn’t too bad and I use it enough to justify the expense – such as today π
Ugh. That blows. What did you want to see?
The Reader and I are not pals. I don’t do it!
Some kind of Rom-Com deal, no doubt.
LOL!

A Quiet Place. But no go. So we ended up watching The Giver, which is very good. With Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep.
I know it, LOL
That Rom Com . .

Lawzy! Just watched both trailers… They both look good though the Krasinsky one would probably scare the bejeezus outta me.
LOL.
Uh huh…

It’s muy strange. It’s a horror movie, but to me it was more suspense than anything else. Good though.

The Meryl Streep looks more like a suspense sci-fi thing… the other one looks like a suspenseful horror!

The Quiet Place is horror but feels more like suspense. The Streep flick is sci-fi . . . ish.

It truly is wonderful to hear. It’s funny, I went to a private high school right behind this church, run by the Brothers of the Christian Schools… Gah. A lifetime ago…
