Light at the End of the Tunnel – Crimsons’s Creative Challenge #54

Missed last week’s challenge. Some days the muse just leaves me hanging. She can be so persnickety at times, can’t she?

When I saw this picture I was reminded of one I had taken that was similar-ish. My search brought me to more than one! I even had to drop one as a haiku is but three lines long πŸ˜‰Β  I hope having a picture between each line does not break up the rhythm too much…

Thanks, Crispina, for challenging us week after week!

The endless arches

Went on and on, yet he hoped

He would find the light

  1. Q,

Haiku cachoo to the voodoo you with so few . . . words. I’m beginning to figure out the exchange rate on your brevity. Each word counts for a chapter. So in reality, you got a book going on inside of each challenge, which is why you’re the mistress of merry mayhem when it comes to these.

I think the photographs added depth. Not that you needed anything but the words, but seeing as how you constructed this, yes . . it works seamlessly. There’s no interruption felt, because the two combined just flow.

    Damn you’re good! πŸ˜‰
