To Each Their Bliss
It can be found on a beach
high up on a mountain top
in the endless sea of sand that is the desert
There is no set place outside of your mind
For me, on most of my walks with
Zeke at my side or bounding ahead
My Elysian bliss is found
No matter the weather

Zeke is trying to steal your show, you know that. He is the handsomest, goodest boy . . striking that winning pose for all of the WordPress world to see. He really is a natural when it comes to this sort of thing.
And I love the artful way with which you used the word- Elysium – to fit a person’s shoes. Where everyone has a different equation, a wholly unique way of finding that java for their particular jones. I love it.

I know that! I was going to simply use one of my pics taken on my walks but I did mention Zeke in the poem so, I kinda, sorta HAD to include him, right? At the expense of me falling into the background (which, by the way, I am totally okay with).
Thank you. Elysian is just that kinda word that doesn’t necessarily show up in my day-to-day talk but upon looking it up and reading various things it helped me to find a way to use it that suited me. 😉

Let’s face it, he simply has a command of the camera lens that you cannot touch. You are born with it, or you ain’t. He has it in bushel fulls.
You may not use the word on the daily, but you sure do know how to dress it up all nice for this challenge. Once again . . ya gone and done it.

Nope. We walk by houses where dogs are going ballistic and he just keeps on walking, completely ignoring them. Only time he does make a sound is if someone rings the doorbell and I don’t stand up fast enough. Then it’s a sorta muffled woof meaning: Yo! Did you NOT hear that?
Well, you wouldn’t want me THAT easy would you? 😉

Oftentimes it’s harder to find. But our four legged beasts so rarely let us down. Unless they are predators intent on devouring us . . but of course, the two legged peeps are driving them to extinction soooo.
