A word prompt to get your creativity flowing this weekend. How you use the prompt is up to you. Write a piece of flash fiction, a poem, a chapter for your novel…anything you like. Or take the challenge below – there are no prizes – it’s not a competition but rather a fun writing exercise. If you want to share what you come up with, please leave a link to it in the comments.

Thanks, Sammi!

  1. Well, that sure looks relaxing! You take a fine spa cocktail pic!
This is an interesting poetic muddle of traits. Very neat, ⚡️💥!
Why did I think “Muddle Duddle”, an instant thought born from Pierre Trudeau’s “Fuddle Duddle”?

    • It was part of a girls getaway what feels like a hundred years ago (but was just over 7).
Thanks, I dunno what I was thinking.
LOL! Too funny. Maybe I should take mine down and play with that version instead.

      • Funny about time, and how we sense it. 7 years seems like 100. I’ve been staying home, social distancing, only going out for food etc. for 10 days. It feels like a month, at least!!!

        • Time does fly. Except when you are doing something you don’t want to, then it goes on and on… We got back on the 9th and I’ve been home since! Not true. I worked 3 shifts…
