Weekend Writing Prompt #209 – Wanton

A word prompt to get your creativity flowing this weekend.  How you use the prompt is up to you.  Write a piece of flash fiction, a poem, a chapter for your novel…anything you like.  Or take the challenge below – there are no prizes – it’s not a competition but rather a fun writing exercise.  If you want to share what you come up with, please leave a link to it in the comments.  This was a fun one!  Thank you for continuing this fun prompt, Sammi!

wk 209 wanton

What a tramp! Look at her flaunting her bosoms and bottom in that figure-forming dress!

Good grief, how archaic are you?  Why such a wanton attack on a woman who is confident in her own sexuality?

What does Chinese food have to do with this?

What?

Wonton. You said–

Wanton, fool

You mean sexually promiscuous.

More like malicious and unprovoked.

Totally random shot… but this flower is kinda confidently sexy, no?

  1. Q

Only you could take a challenge that provides the writer with a (much too) mere 60 words and somehow incorporate both soup and sexy into a flowing provocation of tawdry and tasty.

    Both!

There ain’t no way soup is sexy. I mean, like ever. ‘Cepting for right now of course. Which really does beg the question, because you KNOW I have to ask. I’m guessing this provocatively luscious gal loves to spoon. Which . . of course is in keeping with soup.

  2. On my this 60 word wrote up is not only super clever, it’s hilarious. It would certainly be wanton to to see her digging a wonton out of her cleavage. The Bazooka thinks it would like to blast off a shot or two of her bosoms and bottom in her figure-flaunting dress. Or was it figure-forming? Whatever. Go figure?

  3. Dear Dale,

I actually thought wonton when I saw the word. I was tempted to go the same direction but went in another Chinese direction instead. 😉 Love what you did. Are you sure you aren’t channeling Keith’s Rosey? Love it. And the photo is gorgeous.

    Shalom and lotsa nonjudgmental hugs,

    • Dear Rochelle,

I wasn’t going to and then felt it had turned too preachy so I cut it out and decided to Inject some humour instead. Well that’s a compliment! Thank you! I didn’t have any photos of wanton wontons so…

      Shalom and Lotsa self-assured love,

      Dale

  4. A teachable moment. lol! Well done, Dale. And yes to the flower. I think most flowers (all flowers?) have at least a touch of sexiness to them (and that’s the point, isn’t it?).
