In the spirit of Christmas and the Advent Calendar that has been revamped and re-purposed in myriad ways, I have decided to do one of another sort.  Instead of taking one chocolate per day (or wine or whatever goodie is in vogue) or adding one item into a box to donate for a good cause (a very good thing, indeed) I have chosen to send a little love to my favourite blogs.

Day 14 – The Last Tambourine

Sawsan is relatively new to me in this blogosphere but she quickly made an impact on me.  I discovered this lovely lady through David Kanigan’s blog.  Her comments, already thought-provoking and enlightening, are often accompanied by quotes or sections of texts.  She always knows exactly what to say or to add to an already brilliant post.   For a while we just exchanged over at DK’s and then I decided to follow her.  What a great idea I had.

Poetry and prose, music and lovely shares of all sorts are what greeted me when I signed up.

And to think we were this close to meeting when she came up to my neck of the woods for her mother.  We were even in the same hospital at the same time without knowing it!  Ah well.  Next time, Sawsan!  Maybe here.  Maybe in Chicago!
